Vivid Epiphany — Logo design

Client brief:
Business and Personal Results Coaching firm, Vivid Epiphany, needs a “brand identity” which includes logo and font.
I like color, and everything we use also has to look great in grey scale. My competitors use a lot of soothing blues and green. I like oranges, reds, purples.
Our unique selling proposition is Brain-based coaching, which uses the latest in neuroscience to create an environment conducive to ah-ha moments (e.g. vivid epiphanies). The vision for the company is to create communities where people can find and connect their vision and values with their passion and purpose. We evolve what is into what could be by using focus and attention to create energy, power and lasting change.
We’re a trusted partner to our clients, and I want our branding to say that.
Our target customers are managers, executives and business owners who are successful and want to take it to the next level using leadership.
I wanted to use a light-bulb or exclamation mark for this logo, to represent the “ah-ha moments” mentioned in the brief. These are the concepts I came up with:
